English competences of the students without linguistic certificate A.Y. 2020-2021

Due to the pandemic emergency, the English competences of the students without linguistic certificate will be assessed through a test consisting on a multiple-choice quiz on the Moodle Platform.

The test is scheduled for 4 December 2020 from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. (GMT+1)

You will have a limited window of time to access the Moodle Platform: from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. (GMT+1)

Please be on time: latecomers will not be accepted.

All the students that need to be assessed, will receive an e-mail on the institutional account (name.surname@edu.unito.it) providing all practical informations about the procedure.

Students having received the communication, must participate compulsorily.

The assessment lasts 30 minutes and is a multiple-choice test.

Simultaneously with the test, a Webex room for technical assistance will be opened.

In order to access to the test, we kindly remind you to check the proper functioning of your UNITO credentials (the same ones needed to book the exams on Esse3).

If you do not have any Unito credentials, or you do not remember the password, it is not possible to access to the test.

Candidates who possess a certificate of disability in accordance with the Italian Law 104/92 or a certificate of invalidity (with a degree of invalidity that is at least 50%, or more), if in need of extra time or specific support in order to take the test, must send an e-mail to ufficio.disabili@unito.it at least 3 days before the test, pointing out their specific requests and attaching their certificates.

Candidates who possess an SLD (Specific Learning Disability) certificate in accordance with the Italian Law 170/10, if in need of extra time or specific support in order to take the test, must send an e-mail to ufficio.dsa@unito.it at least 3 days before the test, pointing out their specific requests and attaching their certificates. Candidates with a SLD certificate can ask for:

- extra time to take the test (up to the 30% of extra time);

- a human reader, provided by the University, to read questions to the candidate.
